CampusCE is looking for a high-energy and driven Sales Account Executive with a background in software as a service (SaaS) solutions and Enterprise Software, experience in B2B prospecting, lead qualification, and a track record of achieving quotas. Ideal candidates will be excited to join an early stage company that has an industry leading set of solutions, a solid set of existing customers, sales traction and increasing revenue.
You will join a small team in a fast paced environment where you will work within a regional territory as you tackle prospect opportunities. We are looking for those who are passionate about customers, closing deals, technology and have strength in working with varied closing cycles. Experience working in or selling to the educational industry, particularly higher education, is highly valued.
Own, manage, and drive the full sales cycles from first contact to close;
Prospect leads through managed databases;
Track leads and sales cycles using salesforce.com;
Learn the product and be able to demonstrate the software in person and via web-based presentations;
Achieve sales quota through identifying, qualifying, and closing business in your account territory;
Work closely with the VP of Client Services and our engineering team allocating resources for consulting services, customizations and product implementation.
Experience and Qualification:
3+ years experience in SaaS sales;
4 year BA/BS degree required;
Demonstrated experience managing the full sales cycle from prospect to demo, through close of initial deals and renewals;
Demonstrated strengths building and managing relationships in addition to presenting to a diverse user audience from business champion, technical teams to C-level executives;
Strong and demonstrated written and verbal communications skills;
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, Sales Management software (Salesforce.com preferred), and online tools (like GoToMeeting);
Successful experience selling software to diverse companies, preferably universities and educational institutions.
Travel Requirements - Flexibility for occasional travel in assigned territory.
